out near the zoo, the Monte Bianco on Western Corner might be the best bet. I used to live around there, and it was the best in the area. BTW if you are at/near the zoo, keep an eye out for me every Saturday morning - I'm the one being dragged to see the penguins by an excited two year old. I'd quite happily deep fry one of those and I'm not even Scottish.
