I also work for a major carrier and totally agree that not allowing crew to go through the front of the line would increase costs...and just what we need - more airlines in bankruptcy.
Apropos, DCA and the checkpoint I was at Tuesday morning in particular WERE part of the 'trusted traveller' program that has now been shelved/scrapped by DHS.

I am sorry that TSA would increase the cost of airlines doing business. Here is the thing, though, EVERY BUSINESS TRAVELLER IN LINE is costing their company money by standing in line! I am sorry that the airlines business models are fragile. Maybe if staff spent a little time in line with customers doing CR, it wouldnt be quite so bad...
