I was searching COOL last night looking for fares for a potential business trip to SAN leaving AM of Wednesday, 12/3 and returning to the east coast AM of Thursday, 12/4. EWR fares nonstop and connecting through IAH showed double Y at about $2,300.00; PHL fares connecting through IAH showed double H at about $2,000.00, and BWI fares connecting through IAH showed combinations of Q/T at about $275.00 (!).

I looked at BWI for fun, since it's not worth my while - even at a substantial price savings - to trek all the way down from central NJ by train or by car. But it got me wondering if this is the type of price structure we could come to expect in PHL once WN comes into town (which would be great for people like me, who are pretty much equidistant from EWR and PHL, and who do not mind connecting through IAH or CLE).
