Sadly, I have to agree with Bocastephen and others. Delta's product just can't make it the way it is now. I would choose AF or BA coach, maybe even AZ over DL. However, if Delta were to improve both coach and business even a little, and by that I mean (in coach) a little more leg room, up the food quotient a bit, and go back to comping alcohol, I would go back to them with all the new routes they are offering. I know many people who love to complain about AF and CDG, but they still fly their coach product because the seats are comfortable, the food is good, and the champagne flows. I'm no accountant, but I can't imagine these imporvements would cost more than twenty dollars a seat, and they may need an extra fa or two. I think their biggest challenge is cutting the other major costs that some of the other airlines don't have that have already been mentioned, and I'm not sure they can pull that off. I hope for the best, because it would be great to fly them on international routes from where I live. Also, it would be good to see Delta become a real player again in the air. They were the first ailine I ever flew, and they were the first I ever flew FC internationally on when it was still available. Two trips I'll never forget. BTW, I'd be happy with 18"w and 35-36 p. It would be wider than a BE seat on the 767, I think.
