Am I being suckered in to reply here? Well, here goes. Illegal to listen to Channel 9??? Whose laws make this illegal? Now, I concede that it may theoretically be against regulations in some jurisdictions to broadcast communications to pax, how on earth can it be Illegal to listen to what is being played on your IFE?
Having said that, which jurisdictions make this illegal? Do I break the law every time I fly ORD-YYZ (of course my regular YUL flight has no channel 9, no channel 1 etc.)? Please back up such a statement.
As for smelling burnt human flesh caused by wearing Bose Noise Canceling headphones... ugh.
