Back in the good ole days when domestic and international were separated at NCL, silver/gold/prem exec club members had a fast track through security too... In reality it was a separate door leading to the same line, but it made you feel special to walk through it...

At Birmingham they certain police it. I was returning from a trip a few weeks ago and was in jeans and casual shirt, as soon as I started down the BA Silver/Gold line I was confronted by a young BA man who told me to use the other checkin desks.
Hmmm....Nice of him to do his job but he did not even ask if I was BA Sil/Gold.
Anyway, apart from that, its nice to be treated a bit special if your spending a lot of money with BA.
