Since this seems like it could be a fun topic, I'm curious what everyone's worst travel experience have been.

I haven't had too many bad ones, but my SO once spent 20 hours trying to get from Atlanta to Wausau. He kept getting rerouted due to storms/mechanical failures/overbooked flights.

So what are yours?
