GU Wonder: The case you cite about the black american - doesnt appear to be a case of racial 'discrimination'; rather it looks like a case of being very obviously different from the local population. My wife is Polish & I am Indian - I can vouch that we get much more "attention" and requests for pictures in India than in Poland. (Maybe the fact that I am not as attractive as my wife has something to do with it !)

But seriously, we do get approached by little kids (girls especially) in India every so often who want to know where my wife comes from and want pictures with her - I am not inclined to call that 'racism'.
