I would check with Consumer Affairs as to why your pre-reseved seat was changed upon check-in by the ground handler - US Airways. They can research your reservation and the history of the flight and give you a precise answer why your seat changed.

The unfortunate thing is that every airline has this problem with the last row of the main cabin in front of the lavatories; whomever gets those lucky aisle seats.
