Does anyone know if they would allow items to be checked by one person and picked up by another (pre-arranged)?
I have some things that are currently at my dad's place in Ontario, and I will be connecting through YYZ next week. We won't be able to meet up with my at the airport, but if I could arrange for him to drop off the items (bicycle and ski gear) and me pick them up when I'm going through, that would be a great solution.
Related question: Will AC allow baggage to be checked at a connection point? I plan on leaving myself plenty of time between flights...
Edit: I called the number listed on the linked webpage above for the T1 Travel Store, and it is not in service. Does anyone know if the place still exists?
The Travel Store worked out well. I stored the hand luggage with them, between connections, and paid when I was ready to collect the items.
I believe the Travel Store is still open for business - I can not explain why the web site contact phone number does not work - maybe it has changed, but the web site has not kept pace with the change?
