But you will NOT get say 2 credits for one visit to a restaurant by signing up the same card in two different programs.

Another trick if you are running out of cards but still want to maximize your visits to the same restaurant each month is to sign up a few of those (pre-paid/reloadable) Amex Gift Cards you can pickup now at 7-Eleven
http://www.7-eleven.com/products.html They work just like regular credit/debit cards. Idine ties the numbers to your FF account numbers - you get the miles.
