Well, in order to ticket the reservation I was required to go to the airport and physically surrender the certificate the next day. So I got charged a $30 airport ticketing fee ($15 per ticket).
So my question is, in instances where the online option is NOT available to us, should DL waive the ticketing fees?
ABSOLUTELY, DL
should waive the fees when a ticket cannot be purchased by any other means than the means which incurs such fees. IIRC, it used to be the case that DL would waive the phone fee for tix which could not be purchased online, but they seem to be charging it these days.
