I thought "AF1" refered to the Concorde as well, which I would be much more excited to see.

Whenever I've seen government planes at civilian airports, all I can think is "How much taxmoney is being wasted on that ride?!".

At least in the past they had enough sense to use Ellington Field in Houston, rather than getting in the way at IAH.
