I'm Plat. I've flown 61 segments to date. I cannot recall the number of segments that were on Jungle Jets, but I estimate them to be at about 15 or so. Three other segments were on NW (with 2 for 2 on the upgradeable segments), and one was on Alaska (I spent $50.00 for an upgrade from SAN-SEA -- a very good investment).
So, of the remaining 40 or so domestic flights, I got upgrades on every single flight with the exception of the following three (which makes my batting average about .925 or so):
- LAS-EWR (an early Sunday flight that I understand was filled with tons of Plats, including many whom had finished work the night before on a boxing match - I forget which - that was televised on ESPN).
- MSP-EWR (an early evening flight in the middle of July with nothing special going on in Minnesota).
- SEA-EWR (the last flight of the day on a Wednesday about a month ago -- it was on a 73G that had only 12 FC seats, and I understand from an acquaintance who was booked in FC that the Y-up fare was relatively cheap).
