I happened upon this forum and hope you folks can help.
I used aeroplan points to plan a trip for my wife and I to Europe. The unfortunate thing is that I had to plan so far in advance. The trip is in buisness class and required me to use one of the star alliance carriers as well. The flight is booked for the spring of 2006 and I had to book during the summer of 05.
The problem is that the choices I had to make then do not seem to be on the star alliance carrier schedule anymore. I arrive at the first destination to change flights and that particular flight does not exist anymore. Same circumstance for the return portion.
What are my options on this. I would like some information and suggestions before I try to sort this out with an aeroplan agent. Can you help?
