After dealing with Namibia's department of Home Affairs on a number of occasions I have found that they are horribly disorganized and the chances of them granting him an extension are about the same as winning the lottery. So I guess what we're wondering is if he were to overstay his visa what the chances are that he'll have problems dealing with immigration on his way out and if so what the problems might be. If anybody has any experience with this I'd appreciate your thoughts
Find out what the fine structure is. This happened to me in Angola. It was $7 dollars a day for the overstay, which of course is preferable to seven years
