$1450 sounds about right. WhyFly may have been looking at Oneway fare.
If I recall,he posted a very low fare to Australia few months ago, and it was incorrect, IIRC it was oneway.
There is a fare to Singapore from YYZ for about C$1000.00,with Fuel,Navcan &Taxes it comes to $1400.00 and changed,. It has to be via Chicago only.
Trust me,there is no USD.630.00 or USD.800.00 RT from YYZ to SIN on UA.
