For me it depends on both the gate number and also the flight. Some are notorious for lots of pax doing the same (trying to arrive at last minute) so end up queues at gate screening and then rush to board & get settled. For the alcoholics amongst us may also mean only 1 pre-departure drink instead of 2.

For the far gates (which I often get ) and certain flights will leave 35 minutes. Others as little as 20 minutes. But I do walk fast and no stop for duty free.
