If Asiana do check your bags through to Manchester, when you get to T1 check with BA customer services at Gate 5 that they have your baggage tags numbers in the BA system (you will need to show them your bp and the tags with the number on). If they do not have the baggage tag numbers in the BA system, your bags will not be loaded onto the MAN flight.
