TSA acknowledged a single female passenger had entered the McNamara terminal through the main security exit. They took about 2 hours to heard everybody out and search the terminal. As of late news last night, they had not found the woman but were re-screening passengers and allowing flights.
I was at DTW last night, not fun when a 9:29pm arrival becomes 11:59pm. However, this is what I heard (from flight crew) above is correct, add that allegedly this blonde female (pax???) knocked down a TSA agent (female also I believe) and proceeded to run thru the terminal, and as I understand was never apprehended, after emptying the entire airport and having all passengers rescreened. I feel much safer now.
