Oh Lumpy, I don't expect you to trust me. Trust is something that is earned. And just because of my profession alone, I am not trusted. I must tell you that I don't think the whole screening process is wrong. Just parts of it. But I cannot pick and choose which rules I enforce. What I can do is treat every person politely and make their time at my checkpoint a little easier. I have people that fly frequently come to my lane because I am there and if I can make the process a little easier for them, I am more than happy to. I do enjoy my job, I enjoy being with people. I do my job well, and I am not apologizing for that. With any luck, a little of me will rub off on my co-workers and then comming through my checkpoint will not be so bad. Be careful on those steps!!
