Well, looking on the sunny side - from my recollection these XX-points codes are fairly new, and now come into your email confirm - I can't rememebr how the previous ones worked, but there was no code involved - I think there were some for 1st time shop (so you hoped it knew was your 1st time), or for all customers of the mail-out clubs (again you hoped the point promo would be linked up to your club memberships) - was all very vague and frustrating.

So have not totally given up on this process just yet - and if the other 2,000 come in shortly, will have been worth it (waiting 4-8 weeks). Am not countin on that tesco secure activation though - 500 of that amount, as didn't follow instructions 100% exactly & have already been fobbed off by email & told to contact another dept. , sadly onl giving me a phone number, so I will not likely be able to post two emails, each saying to contact the other & not their problem!

Key thing to do, btw, is contact Tesco Clubcard today & find out what exactly hit.
