From the airport you can either take a taxi, which is about S$20 or the subway to Harbour Front and then their shuttle service.

You cannot compare the two hotels, the SL at Orange Grove is IMHO the of the best Hotels in SIN, whereas the Sentosa is a resort hotel with a nice freeform pool, but if you do not have kids, do not go there on weekends!
