Due to limits on vacation time from work, we cannot stay one more night in New York and take another day of vacation. We have this 16 day trip planned down to the hour to use every possible minute of accrued vacation time available. As it is we are staying one night in London after a 14 day cruise since I'm concerned about making it from Dover to LHR on a Monday morning to catch any flights before noon. I've used Priceline before and they do have good deals.
Of course, with the price of hotels in London I may go ahead and leave LHR on July 10 in the afternoon and overnight in NY then on to Kansas City on the 11th if Delta would book it that way.
