The "Business Class" you are referring to on Domestic flights is either a flight number that continues or originates internationally (e.g. DL101) or it is an aircraft that features a Business Elite cabin (e.g. Domestic 777/763ER service).
Flew DL 101 Lax/atl last weekend. Config was standard FC (no big comfly BE seats). Was told on check-in that aircraft would be same as one continuing to EZE. Wrong! Flt 101 landed in ATL at a B gate and the Flt 101 Atl-EZE left from E gate. That AC had the true BE seats. BTW, service ATL-EZe was excellent.
