It's the Strip, not the Sunset Strip. (The Sunset Strip is in Los Angeles.)

I don't know about the number of beds, but you can get a rough estimate of the number of hotel rooms by adding up the number of rooms in each hotel. There's a listing of Strip hotels on the Wikipedia site:
