We like to stay at Lilley's Landing http://www.lilleyslanding.com/fishing.php when we go to Branson. It is off the main drag and offers more quiet and relaxation.

I also like Riding the Ducks, riding amphibious vehilces that plunge right into the lake! Lots of fun. And the outlet mall.

Branson is great for country shows. There are some alternative country types down there for those who don't like the hardcore mainstream stuff. I recommend David Allen Coe if you can catch him performing.
