The Swans rooms are average, but they are located within walking distance (approx 10-12 minutes) from the back entrance of Epcot. The Boardwalk (located in the area of the Swan) has great night life. You can see the evening fireworks from the Swan or the Boardwalk area. Also numerous resturants in the Boardwalk area and of course in Epcot. The Double Tree has better rooms but you have to take transportation to any Disney Park. If it is just 2 adults I think you might like to location of the Swan better. We have stayed in the Boardwalk area 5 times and would choose over the Double tree. Just my opinion. Either way, you'll have a great trip.

We've got a trip booked to WDW with a stay at either the WDW Doubletree Guests Suites (a deluxe suite booked) and the Swan for a traditional room.
HHonors Gold and SPG Gold here and $149 at the DT and $169 at the Swan.
It's only me and the SO heading out, so we're looking for someplace that'll be nice, comfortable and relaxing after long days at the park.
So, which one? The Swan or DT Guest Suites? Personal experiences appreciated.
Thank you!
