No problem, however, since you are allowed to fly without ID. You just get the full SSSS treatment.

Is he even 18 years old? Reason I ask is that children under 18 don't have to show any ID to fly. Most people with Learner's Permits are usually 16 or 17.
alas, my brother is not most 18 yr old people... he has never gotten a DL even though he is a decent driver with parents present. (the reasoning I have been told is that several of his friends have had very bad car accidents, which has spooked him... i thought this trauma would pass, but a couple weeks ago, another of his friends was in an accident - fatal this time).
