Please pardon me if this has been discussed recently. I've been on a couple of flights on NW that were 3hrs and above, both in Y and F, and on none of them was there any form of IFE other than magazines. Is this standard NW fare? I mean, they've got those monitors hanging from the 757 ceilings, why not use them?

On other airlines, at least the safetly announcements are on the monitors, but on NW, there was NOTHING. Has it always been thus?
