Are you saying that you are not getting an upgrade as a Platinum from a flight in the US to a Pacific destination? NW does not do these international upgrades PERIOD! We were all hoping there may be a change in this policy but the head of Worldperks just stated the status quo in the chat he had in FT last week.
As a Platinum you still get all the rest of the perks, including getting the better seats in the seat maps online. But NO UPGRADE!
FYI, if you get an unhelpful agent on the phone it is always a good practice to thank him/her for her assistance, click and call back to talk to a different one.

It seems he was looking for the normal upgrade on the domestic segment of his trip, not the overseas segments. As stated in original message...
"Normally 5 days out will have already got the upgrade for the first domestic segment. But now 4 days from the trip and still see no notification."
