I have never had a single fraud issue. My main concern isn't that they keep calling, it's that they are denying they call. I know that it is them because I recognize all of the charges. They will often call me the minute I leave the store. I stopped at the vet while in Toronto and as I was walking out the door, they called me. They have called me literally seconds after I make a purchase and then the next person to call me denies that they have called me in the past.
I was worried about phishing before and now I'm fairly concerned that maybe this is what it is but how would they know the transactions as their happening since the citicards.com takes 5+ days to post the transactions online.
I just don't like being accused of lying when I'm the one who has to stop what I'm doing to go through all of my charges, which makes me feel like my spending is being monitored and then to have them tell me that they've never called me. They always have such a nasty tone and when I explain to them, politely, that I really do travel a lot and that is why I have an airmiles card for my airline of choice. They also call me about when I purchase airline tickets, which is odd because I know they can see the name I've put on my airline tickets since it posts into my statements. Why would a thief buy airline tickets in my name?
