Not yet being a premier (but getting there quickly!) I have never experienced this myself, but my reaction is: JEEEEZ! The GA won't "bend" the rules for 24 lousy miles? After seeing SO many posts with similar little gripes like this, I am beginning to wonder why I want to get Premier status anyway. If the airline is just going to nickel and dime me at every turn, instead of treating me like a valued customer, what good is status anyway?
