Is it possible to buy a ticket in my home country, starting outside my home country with destination home country? The ticket itself can be send by courier to my current address.

Can you please be a bit more specific as to where your resident country is?

Please note that for any special fares, one must originate from that country where you bought your ticket at and that you must board from there.

For example, fares ex-BKK/MNL/TPE via HKG to USA are almost always going to be cheaper than ex-HKG fares. You may buy tickets from these places and have them delivered to you if you are staying in HKG , say. BUT you must originate from those places .. and not just board in HKG. CX will and can refuse you boarding and you might even have your entire ticket confiscated.
