Out here in Western MI (aka the sticks) we need the puddle jumpers and, more important, Mesaba is a good little company that has always run a pretty tight ship.

The clock for filing under the current conditions is running out later this month. By this time next month, the terms will be worse. (Unfortunately, not everyone is as "wise" -- e.g., a lot of Hurricane Katrina-impacted companies and families are going to learn this the very hardest way in a year or two.
) Mesaba would be best advised to do this ASAP, if needed at all.
