Two years ago - enjoyed immensely our experience at Westin Whistler over NYE. To be specific, we did not go out and party in the ski village or even in the hotel, as one of our group had a short-term medical condition that developed on this trip which prevented getting out - but we went out into the town and bought some lobsters, then scrounged a long table & 8x chairs, a white tablecloth, ipod w/ speakers, and had an old-fashioned lobster broil in the room w/ three great families (men and spouses, no kids) and we put all the kids in a different room, ordered them pizzas, and started them a Disney in-room movie. An impromptu party w/ close friends and family not to be outdone for a long time.

But - the Westin also had a big event, and then there were many, many options in the Whistler ski village adjacent to this property.

I can't imagine a more festive place than this Westin and/or Whistler village for NYE entertainment.
