All of the other replies listed some quite fine properties. But I noticed in the OP a mention of "good" hotels. Perhaps the ultimate isn't required but just comfortable. In that case then, I'd recommend either the Holiday Inn Golden Mile or the Sheraton just down the street (Stanley, if I remember right).

Both are just fine.
