Ah yes, the old concept of "lose money on every sale but make it up on volume".
IIRC, K fares used to get more MQM's than U, but currently the two are equal.
I'm in 19F on a 767-300 both ways, I'll ask about exit rows. The DL site says 19F is a preferred seat, seatguru doesn't show anything special about it.
I do this run a lot, but it's been a number of years since I've sat in back on DL metal; it's usually AZ or AF, and they have different upgrade rules. (each one has op-up'ed me on rare occasions). Never hurts to ask at check-in.
