I was planning a trip to Hawaii and we booked an Avis rental and a Hertz rental. I used MR points for Avis and Hertz vouchers. I have since had to cancel the trip due to the passing of my fiance's mother. I have the certificates and know I can hold/use them for close to a year, but has anyone had success calling MR to cancel/void them and get the points back? thanks in advance.
