I agree with Alpine name brand...I was Argentina for a while and I loved the waist, lumbar support and I jammed that bag with the heaviest of items and used it as the carry on when flying, then I'd role my suitcase behind me and walk with the pack on. Unfortunately I gave it to a bud and don't remember the name brand.

Have you ever looked into military issue? Problem might be the color?
