I think if you are looking for a place to blow off steam - and are in the 25-35 age range, you may want to look at a gym that offers kick boxing, tae-bo, hip-hop, etc.
My understanding is that Curves is a 30 minute circuit workout, aimed at increasing activity levels while providing a supportive environment.
After my hip-hop II class on Monday night, where the 21 yr old instructor asked us to do 1 armed push-ups during our routine (where I honestly thought she must be drunk to be asking me to do this) - I think I need to look for a more supportive gym.
