Correct. It's a phantom Business Class section. Must be the continuation of an international flight. If it's a two class plane, you'll get in F with a D ticket. If it's a three class, you'll be in C.
I guess it just weird that the D even shows up given that I'm only pricing out the one-way segment. However, I suppose it exists primarily to be combined with European and Asian C tix.
