Personally I would much, much rather fly Ted than WN. However, for a fare difference of $180 versus $338 I might at least consider WN. Still, I'd be hesitant as I highly value the elite check-in and elite security line benefits. I also hate the WN boarding process.

Thankfully in a lot of markets you can still get mainline flights instead of Ted, although I know it's pretty difficult if you're going to LAS.
