If they cancel your flight, just ask for an original routing credit and take whatever other option they give you. More miles for less flying is not a bad deal, especially on a MR. I'm sure the ATL redeye(s) wouldn't be cancelled.
Didn't think about that...that could work out. Still, I might try to get on the AS SEA-MCO flight (it's a DL codeshare) and then take a 4 hour layover in MCO and fly up to GSO...would get a few more miles out of it at least...
