Problem with that is that with the current camera resolutions you are easilly looking at 3Mb-6Mb per photo, uploading 100 of those would take hours.
I'd suggest a small memory card backup device like this:

Another option is to get yourself an ipod with photo adapter or card reader and use it to backup your photos.
