I managed to snag a complete rarity 350 days out from date of travel: 3 J award seats Beijing - London next April.

I have now had to change dates and find that there are no J award seats at all (even singles) for the whole of April.

The flight I was booked on is showing J9 C9 D9 I9 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 R9 V9 N9 L9 S9 Q9 O9. I cancelled my booking and looked to see whether any of my 3 the seats would come back into inventory.

Nothing, nada, zilch. I wonderwhy, if avaiability is so wide open and they were once willing to offer 3 award setas on that flight.

I know that BA do block particular flights (e.g. Friday flights back from HKG and NYC in premium cabins) which I can quite understand. But a whole route for a whole month (actually 2 months as there are no seats in March either) ?
