Good chip shop in Edinburgh please

[note I'm not looking for *the best* chip shop - that's rather toosubjective, and I don't want things to go Pete Tong as in this thread ]

Will be visiting my brother and family in Edinburgh (out near the zoo) in December, and will take the opportunity to eat proper fish and chips for every meal.

What are people's favourite chippies ? And I mean proper Edinburgh chippies - I used to live in Auld Reekie but haven't been there for years. In those days, L'Aquila Bianca or L'Alba d'Oro (I think, the one down Henderson Terrace) were always pretty good, but no idea if they're even there any more.

Looking for fresh, tasty, crispy fish supper - good pies and haggis get bonus points

Votes / opinions welcome - even from expatriates
