Aside from the lack of access to National Rail services within the 6 Zones, it's a brilliant scheme which meets the needs of occasional users as well as commuters. I wish other cities would adopt it as we all strive to reduce road congestion. Sadly, the nearest thing in Edinburgh is a Lothian Buses one-size-fits-all "smart" card which costs a minimum of £30 a month and allows users a generous choice: take it or leave it.
