There are some portable devices that consist of a CD-burner with a card reader. You put a disc in it, then stick the memory card in the slot, push a button, and it copies the files and burns them onto the CD. Some are even battery powered.

I've also seen some that are hard disk-based instead of using a CD-RW drive. These would be a bit smaller yet, but probably more expensive.
