I spent about an hour today looking for some first class flights to Maui from DFW for any dates. We have always used miles to fly first class. There were alot dates available for economy class, but everytime I checked first class it said that there weren't any milesaaver seats. I really don't want to spend 150 miles to fly first class. I tried joining expertflyer, thinking that would help, but with the membership I got I could not check multiple dates. AA has a feature when you are purchasing flights that you can check prices for 30 days at a time, but I could not find a way to do that with miles.

Has it gotten more difficult to get first class seats with miles? My husband is a gold aadvantage member. I know I can call, but would like to avoid the charge and we are flexible with our dates. I would appreciate any suggestions.
